One time I was crying in a restaurant and was rushing towards the bathroom when a middle-aged woman passes me and grabs my arm and tells me "it's not worth crying over." I was too upset and embarrassed to think exactly what she was saying or even look at her in the face so I quickly nodded and shrugged her off.
A little less than a year later I look back on this and wish I had listened to her and given thought to the couple simple words she spoke for me.
