We stand together, underneath the dark blanket encrusted with diamonds up above and watch as fiery bursts light the heavens. I watch the others around us and watch their amazed faces as they are lit with sunset glows and nuclear downpours.
I watch you and your eyes are half closed but they are lit, and dreaming, gazing, farther off into the distance than I can ever see.
